JUST A THOUGHT - LIVE YOUR LIFE AS FULLY AS YOU CAN; WHEN ITS DONE, ITS DONE! THE END....

In death, there is no status differentiation between those who had thoroughly enjoyed their living, even to excess, when they were alive.  

And those who had had to endure great sacrifices and miserable lives. 

Since, it is in death that all humans are truly equalised. At least, outside of the religious remits which seek to perpetuate human suffering beyond the grave, or, if you like, our temporality. 

Or to excuse human suffering in this and the only certain life, with the promise of pleasure in the uncertain next life.

Whatever pleasure and enjoyment, or pain and misery, which us humans do and must entertain or suffer.  Can only befall us during our life's journey. 

It therefore behoves us, the living, to be primarily motivated by the 'carrot of pleasure and enjoyment.'  

By fun, to become the disciples of pleasure, during our brief time upon the Earth. 

To seek after both simple and complex pleasure, which does not have to be paid for by the pain, even the death of other humans.

It is not clear to me that there is anything more desirous or even sacred, in all the aspirations of humans. 

Or that the fulfilment of any other aspirations of humans, cannot be encompassed by our quest to achieve the most pleasure and enjoyment we can, from our lives of probably mostly toil and struggle. 

This is how we can or could go about not having to rely on the miserable dying and ultimate death of a loved, and/or inspiring person.  

To remind us of our mortality, and of the true purpose of our, human's, existence. 

Which is to have pleasure, and as much of it as we can, before we succumb to our mortality. The ascendancy of the id principle over superego, if you like.

So, let us be guided by the pleasure principle, while our ergosumness lasts.
