JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON WHETHER HUMANS CAN AND SHOULD COMMUNICATE MORE WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT. PART 5.

After all, it is the natural environment which has enabled the evolution of life. 

And it is still essential for the preservation of this life. Over-reliance on the 'concrete jungle', is almost certain to foster a harsher and more 'soulless' human psyche and persona. 

The survival of which is probably less worthy than those which have evolved naturally from the 'primal swamp.'


All of which suggest that us humans should, in the first instance, continue to do what is being done, and more, to protect our existing flora and fauna. 

Both in its wild state, and in their habitats in our villages, towns and cities. 

Our governments and local authorities should do more to promote, not so much the 'gentrification' of our towns and cities, by the building of expensive houses. 


But by ensuring that it becomes the responsibility of all us, ordinary citizens, children, home owners and tenants, to 'live green life-styles.' 

Making it the statutory obligation of home owners, landlords and tenants, to plant appropriate trees and gardens on the land which they occupy. 

To have potted plants, herbs which they can use for cooking and medicinal purposes, and plants which can attract and promote faunal habitats.
