JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON THE PREVALENCE AND TRANSFERABILITY OF A STATE OF 'OTHERNESS' ! PART 6.

We can understand the perspective of the individual fearing the coming of 'the other' and how they will impact their lives. Economically, socially, culturally and politically. 

But this is how it has always been within the evolution of the species. This is why we have to also take a societal and a global perspective as well. 

A perspective which is not just limited to satisfying the personal preferences of those who would proclaim '.....land for the ...'  

And put up a 'No Entry' sign to those who, for various reasons, feel the pressure to leave their countries and regions of the world, to try their luck in places where they are unwelcome.

There is the need for human species to survive, something which it, we are better, if not only able to achieve, through the mixing of human geno-pool. 

And not by this and that ethnic and 'racial' group or branch, remaining isolated and bringing about its own evolutionary demise. Unity not only makes us humans strong; it also ensures our survival. 

At least for longer than we would, if we continue to fight and remain disunited and 'ethnically, nationally and 'racially exclusive and exceptionalistic.'

Some demographic changes are, indeed, dramatic and can be frightening. 

As 'outsiders', 'the others', moved into a neighbourhood, a community, and some or most of the local people, over time, move out.  

And, in the space of time, the area might becomes so different, that it is no longer recognisable to those who once or still live there.
