JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON THE PREVALENCE AND TRANSFERABILITY OF A STATE OF 'OTHERNESS' ! PART.4.

With the fear of the 'other', the aspiring new immigrants, migrants and refugees, not being that they will so much dispossess us, the now 'settled former immigrants and invaders.' 

But that they, the 'other', poses a serious threat to our jobs, our women, our religions, our way of life, and our mono-ethnic or predominantly mono-ethnic or 'racial', cultural society.  And our existing political system.'

Yes, the pressure of inertia becomes extremely strong, as both the actual and presumed adverse future are exploited and manipulated. 



By the protectors of the existing social order, to fight the perceived 'invasion of the 'others.'  

The fear which is orchestrated becomes more potent than the actual and potential adverse impact of the immigrants, the refugees and the migrants. 

It becomes like the impact of 'rumours of war', with the impact of the 'enemy being multiplied as it engulfs the nation. 



The situation is not helped by the fact that, the fear, both genuine, orchestrated and that which is unlikely to become a reality. 

Can also lead to a situation in which the political leaders and the governments of the host nations become, even if temporarily. 

Frightened and unable to take appropriate measures to address both the reality and the perception and fears about 'the other.' 

Something which can then give rise to events which further feed the fears about the 'other.'
