SEX AND ITS VARIOUS AND CONFLICTING ROLES IN SOCIETY. PART 5.

To becoming more of 'an art form', with both the male and the female taking time wooing each other. 

To establish some intellectual, 'spiritual' and emotional intercourse with each other.  

To know each other, intellectually and emotionally, and to identify commonalities and complementary attributes they have, before 'falling in love with one another.' 

Of their own 'free will', before embarking on 'having sex.' Consensual sex, in which both parties are intended to enjoy the process and pleasure outcome. 

And not just the woman of the species being by the male, to fulfil his desire.

But before this stage of enlightenment could be reached, humans, like other primates, now had to place greater emphasis on the male seducing his female mate or partner. 

Whether they were in societies in which a 'man's status and ability' to 'provide for his wife and family' was of great importance. 

Or in a society in which a man's prowess as an hunter or warrior were seen as most desirable by the women of that society. 

Of course, there would also have been room for young women and men to simply find themselves very attracted to one another and wanting to have a relationship.
