SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX - ANOTHER WIN FOR GRAND MASTERS TEAM MERCEDES AND HAMILTON! THE END..

The Singapore Grand Prix might not be noted for being amongst the most thrilling of grand Prix, with its sharp and slithering bends and corners and beguiling safety barriers attempting to seduce the passing drivers into their destructive embrace. 

But one thing it definitely is, as 61 laps of it, is a 'race of endurance.'  This was evident from the physical fatigue which the drivers demonstrated at its end. 

Hamilton clearly did not have the energy to lift himself up and thrown himself into the waiting arms of his Team Mercedes colleagues, as he had done at the end of other races he won.

After his stunning Pole lap on Saturday, and considering the circumstances of the Marian Bay Street Circuit.  

It was not surprising that we would have had to suffice with a race which was the equivalent of a fascinating game of  Chess being played. 

We were not disappointed - although Team Ferrari and Sebastian and Team Force India and Ocon and Perez, and, yes, Grosjean and Sirotkin and their teams - might see it quite differently.

But for now, A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, for achieving P.1 and 4. 

And to Team Red Bull and Verstappen, and Team Ferrari and Vettel, of making it to P.2 and P.3, respectively.

Although it was not a great weekend for some of the teams and their drivers, it was undoubtedly an exceptionally good weekend for Formula 1.

Now, let us, with quiet contemplation, await the next episode of this intriguing saga, at the Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Circuit. To see whether Team Mercedes and Hamilton have truly become Magicians, Grand Masters, or are just capable of doing magical and grand things; at times.
