If it was about effort and commitment, this cat would have been well up there, as the saying goes. 

 However, it is not only about making the effort, but rather about achieving the desired results. Which is why, for this amiable cat, the fun has to be in the chase, only. 

 As it chases the disrespecting Crows and Magpies, who flutter here and there, and appearing to be saying; you miss, you cannot catch me, try again, and haw, haw...
