It is probably not the case that Team Mercedes could have promoted any good Formula 1 driver into becoming the successful and accomplished driver Lewis Hamilton is. 


Lewis Hamilton is being acted upon by Team Mercedes and Team Mercedes is being acted upon by Lewis Hamilton.  

There is a certain reciprocity between them, with one pushing and, in turn, being pushed by the other, so as to create, for the duration of their relationship, perpetual motion. To maintain the gravity which keeps both of them in their reciprocal orbit.

Each of them is pulling their weight, which is why the Hamilton-Team Mercedes union is proving so successful.

But enough reflection for now. For now when Sebastian Vettel's star is again coming under heavy and dark clouds, when it needs to be shining more brightly. 


When Daniel Ricciardo, on his last season with Team Red Bull, is having to endure more woes, which his car losing power and prematurely ending his participation in Qualifying.

Yes, let us now look towards the Japanese Grand Prix, with the anticipation of bearing witness to another exciting and thrilling race between all the competitors. 

To see what Hamilton and Bottas and Team Mercedes can do to hold off the pursuing predators. 


To see if Sebastian and Kimi and Team Ferrari are able to force a last minute, no holds barred resistance to them being rolled over by Team Mercedes.  Or whether they will continue their slide towards conceding the 2020 Championship to Team Mercedes.

We, the people, the audience, await, with baited breath, this next exciting episode and chapter in the 2020 Formula 1 Season, at the Suzuka Circuit.

Diplomacy ought to be the process by which nations, through their governments, establish and maintain mutually beneficial and peaceful relationships between them; Diplomacy is not, like the Gulf Cooperation Council members and their allies, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE states, trying to bully and intimidate Qatar into doing their bidding, by surrendering its sovereignty.  Neither is diplomacy what the American government is doing, in using sanctions to force the governments of states of Iran, Russia and North Korea, into complying with its demands.  About what action they should or should not take in pursuing what they consider to be in the interest of their countries and people.  No, none of this is diplomacy.
