ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX - ANOTHER WIN FOR TEAM MERCEDES AND HAMILTON, AS SEASON CLOSES! PART 2.

And so it was, that, despite a spirited and seemingly unabated challenge from both Team Ferrari and Team Red Bull, in the form of Sebastian Vettel, Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo. 

Team MerHam displayed their now customary calm and masterful domination of the Yas Marinas Circuit, to convert their Qualifying Pole position into a Win. 

For Team Mercedes, the only chagrin of the race, was in the torrid situation which Valtteri Bottas had found himself. 

With him having to suffer the indignity of doing error-induced battles with and being thoroughly 'destroyed' by both Verstappen and Ricciardo. 

Leaving him probably feeling and humiliated and dazed at the end of the race, having been demoted to P.5.

Yes, not even the predicament of Magnussen, in having his car flipped over and somersaulting twice, following a dangerous collision with Grosjean.  

As dramatic as it was, could outdone the humiliation which Bottas might have experienced.   

As a result of him not having been able to 'find and/and kept hold of the golden thread' he needed to have the kind of race his team mate, Hamilton, had. 

Consequences which had left him racing on the equivalent of a potholed pitted track, instead of 'rail-like circuit' taken by Hamilton.

As action packed as the race was, however, with Magnussen's crash and several cars having DNFed.
