BRITAIN'S BREXIT TRAGEDY - PRIME MINISTER THERESA MAY MORE EMPEROR NERO THAN BOUDICA ! THE END....!

That it should be used to decide a people's fate, their present and future, irrespective of the actual cost. 

Then, yes, of course what the British Prime Minister is doing, in using the 'authority' of the 52 per percent of the Referendum voters who voted to leave.  

To legitimise British government's 'Brexit and Bust' campaign,  could be perceived as being both 'the right thing to do, and is defensible.' 

But only, it seems to me, on that very simplistic basis, which does not augurs well for good statecraft.


If, however, you happen to be someone who is aware of and is inclined to take a broader approach to what is happening, locally and internationally.  

And to how Brexit could impact and be impacted by them, economically, socially, politically, in terms of regional stability and environmentally. 

Then, the wisdom of following the 'logic of basic or simple 'democracy', seems to be a profoundly defective and fearful one.

Britain, as a result of Brexit, might or will be free of Europe, probably more for bad than for good.  


And is likely to simply add to an increasingly worrying state of 'fractured reality', an ill-wind blowing over the world. 

At a time when people and countries need to be coming together more, and uniting negotiating and taking common and joint action to resolve common and shared problems, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

As the ageing and history of countries and nations go, the United Kingdom is in its 'senior years.' A time when it is more vulnerable and dependent on the 'younger and stronger' countries coming of age. 

It is no time for it to be cutting itself adrift from its peers and attempting to make a new journey of 'rediscovery', as the world has already been charted and laid claim to. 

The nation's relevance is inextricably linked to working with others to improve its existing relationships and networks.
