JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON HOW WALKING THE EXTREMIST PATH DOES NOT MAKE US 'EXTREMISTS.! PART 2.

Yes, to buck the trend of conformity and test the accuracy and boundaries of 'natural laws.'

So, back to the subject of this post, which is about 'extremism' and how it is being perceived. 

Like the forces of 'light' and 'darkness' in a medieval play, 'extremism' and the 'war against extremism' have become a part of the human lexicon. 

They have become both a de facto and de jure aspects of all our lives. 

And, just as how in medieval times - and in some parts of the world, currently - terrible things have been done in the name 'defeating the forces of 'evil', of 'the ungodly' and the 'heathen.' 

So have terrible things been done in the name of  defeating 'the extremists.'

Now, it is not my contention that 'extremists and 'extremism' does not pose any real and terrible threat to us humans, and our need to continue to advance the enlightenment of the whole world. 

No, it is clear that some 'extremists' and the 'practise of extremism' do pose a grave threat to humanity. 

But just as how what we might characterise as 'bad extremists' and 'bad extremism' are pernicious, so can 'good extremists', and 'good extremism.' 

You see, it is as the saying goes, 'you have to fight fire with fire' and, at times, use similar, if not the same tactics and strategies as 'the extremists.' 

Which means that you, we, 'the good guys', must also, of necessity, 'become extremists' or 'like the extremists.'
