'CONVERSING WITH GOD' - ON GIVING MEANING TO PEOPLE'S LIVES. PART 14.

L.G.: The purpose of your life does not outlast you, irrespective of prognastications and the visions of the ancients.

Notwithstanding the prophesies of the prophets, the holy men and women, the seers and the mystics.

The life of humans, like the lives of all other creatures, have not divine purpose or meaning.

It is, to a large extent, like the beautiful flower that blossoms and fills the air with its radiance and aroma.

And then withers and dies, making space for others yet to be born or blossom, to take its place.

T.: That makes sense to me, L.G. Even though, like others, there are times when I, in my moments of quiet contemplation, do think about and question the whether it is or was worth it.

That humans should have been created or evolved.

So, L.G., when the Christian gospel quoted Christ as having said he was going to prepare a place in his, your Kingdom, for the faithful.

Presumably after they have passed, well, it is not true, is it?

To be continued!
