AM I ISLAMOPHOBIC, OR AN ISLAMOPHOBE? PART 6.

'After all, if we do not share the same roots or foundation, and make no deliberate and agreed plans for bridging the problematic differences between our different worldviews.

How likely is it that we will arrive at a mutually beneficial and peaceful destination?'

But, as I have said, it is a matter of context and degrees. It s not  matter of whether or not we do have such feelings and emotions, even towards members of our own group.  Because we do.

The crucial thing is that of what do we do with these feelings and emotions.

Do we just keep them inside of our thoughts, like traits which only become problematic, combustible and destructive when they come into contact and mix with people with similar traits?

Do we not speak of them for fear of being socially ostracised and even criminalised?

Or do we act on them in a negative way which leads to the unprovoked expression of incitement and violence towards the people against whom we hold them.

The unconscionable act of murderous madness as we have seen from the man who has brought death and maiming to scores of New Zealanders recently.

So, reminding myself of the subject of this post: 'Am I an Islamophobe or Islamophobic?'
