Could be more indicative of Hamilton's ability to make up the difference with an under-performing car.  

 Than to any evidence of Team Mercedes proving that, when the 'when the challenge becomes tough, the tough gets going.' 

 However, just as how Leclerc and Vettel, aided and abetted by Team Ferrari, will have a whole Grand Prix to prove who is going to prevail in the competition.  

 So will Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, also have the whole race to step up and displace Team Ferrari from the P.1 and P.2. 

If they have what it takes to bring together and achieve fusion between all the forces of strategy, tactic and symmetry between team, racers, cars and track eco-system. 

 Notwithstanding Lerclerc's and Vettel's Qualifying mastery, the Bahrain Grand Prix still open to be won by the intrepid team and driver.  

 That deploy and maintain the optimum performance and is least negatively impacted by the intrigues of negative forces during the race on Sunday.

 Let us look forward to an exciting and entertaining Bahrain Grand Prix. For both the teams and the fans and watching and listening public.
