JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON HOW 'THE CENTRE' IS WHERE MOST OF US HUMANS PROBABLY LIVE OUR LIVES. PART 2.

In fact, probably most psychologist, whether their specialism is behavioural, cognitive, psychodynamic or other forms of psychology.

Would acknowledge the importance of infancy and early the formative years and experiences of humans and other primates, in preparing them for adulthood and beyond.

This much has been articulated in Erik Erikson's psychosocial Eight Stages of Man (human beings).

Infancy - learn about the basic function of the body and how to maintain it with food and drinks.

Childhood - stage of basic exploration of self and external environment

Adolescence - learn more about the body, relationships, identity, and years of destruction

Early Adulthood - industry, relationships and living life in the fast lane

Pre-and middle phase of adulthood - years of acquisition and accumulation.

... Years of holding on to what you have

It is in the middle of our lives that us humans are probably most productive.

To be continued!
