JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON FINDING GOD.

Or that ''God' lives within us'. Which could either makes us feel powerful, being the host of or possessed by 'God', as it were, 

Or could lead to us being probably terrified of having 'God' living in us and being aware of all of our thoughts, our feelings, our plans, and our actions. 

And, of course, there is the 'answer' which stipulates that 'God is everywhere, omnipresent, as well as being omnipotent. 

But, as we all know, there is a danger, a weakness in becoming too stretched, having too many things to cover and being responsible for. 


Even 'power', when stretched too much, loses its potency. Which is probably the main reason or reason, why 'God', despite people's claims to the contrary.  

Is so ineffective in His intervention into the affairs of the world, of humans.

The truth is that we, ordinary mortals, as opposed to our leaders who reign over us, do have some control, or, probably more accurately, influence, over the things which occur in the external world. 

The world outside of our immediate psychological and physical world. But, oftentimes, not enough to determine whether a particular thing takes place or not. 

And this, I fear, or have come to understand, is also how it is with the 'Gods' or God whom we worship. 

Whom we place our trust in. 'He', also, does not have much influence or control over the things, both good and bad, that befalls us humans. 

He is not able to protect us our enemies, such as the demons who, bereft of all their humanity, brought about the terrible massacring of innocent children, men and women, in Sri Lanks. 

Who had come together to join in fellowship and to worship their God. 

Even though a 'God' who was not able and did not protect them from the evil which came amongst them with murder and mayhem in the void which should have held their hearts.  

And the intellect that should have been cogitating on their humanity.

I have come to the conclusion that, we humans are not able to find a sentient and omniscient, physical and/or spiritual 'God.' Because such an entity, a phenomenon, only exists in our thoughts and imagination.
