HEDGEHOG'S NIGHT PICNIC!

This is a short video of a nocturnal regular visitor to the garden. On this occasion, Brr Hedgehog was observed munching his/her way through some bread pieces, intended for the birds and squirrel. 

 When he/she was asked what he/she was doing. He/she replied, simply, well, hedgehogs have to live as well and we do this by eating. 

 Anyway, he added, what have you got against Hedgehogs; do not discriminate against me. Carry on, Brr Hedgehog, and good night, I replied. Before leaving him to continue to indulge. After all, it was a nice night for a picnic.

Diplomacy ought to be the process by which nations, through their governments, establish and maintain mutually beneficial and peaceful relationships between them; Diplomacy is not, like the Gulf Cooperation Council members and their allies, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE states, trying to bully and intimidate Qatar into doing their bidding, by surrendering its sovereignty.  Neither is diplomacy what the American government is doing, in using sanctions to force the governments of states of Iran, Russia and North Korea, into complying with its demands.  About what action they should or should not take in pursuing what they consider to be in the interest of their countries and people.  No, none of this is diplomacy. Rather it is method of force and compulsion, which is not synonymous with principle or practice of diplomacy.  Which is about the art of establishing and maintaining peaceful and mutually beneficial relationships between different countries.
