JUST A THOUGHT - ON BREXIT POISONING EUROPE AND THE WORLD.

Some or all of which problems could probably have been avoided by simply calling a second referendum to hear what the British people now think about leaving the European Union.

Instead of rigidly holding on to the supposed inviolability of the "will of 52 per cent of the British electorate who voted in the first referendum on Britain leaving the EU", back in 2016.

And the result of all of this, sofar, is that there is a terrible leadership and policy vacuum and paralysis in Europe, and, consequentially, much of the world.

At a time when good collective leadership and policy cohesion is crucial.

In order to limit the damage which is being done to international cooperation between nations, and the promotion of world peace. By President Donald Trump's rogue regime in Washington.

As far as Brexit is concerned, the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, could have better served the national and international interests of her country.

By taking steps to have a second referendum on whether or not the British people still wanted to leave the European Union. That would have been the bold and courageous thing for her to have done.

Instead, she chose to negate the prerogative of a prudent leader.

By chaining his/herself to being faithful to upholding a decision which was made in the past.

But which has  since been proved not to be being in the best interest of the British people, and to be realisable only at a pyrrhic cost to the nation.

In other words, at a cost which would not be viable. Like you having to die to prove a point, and therefore not being around to realise it.
