MONACO GRAND PRIX 2019 - ANOTHER P.1 AND P.2 FOR TEAM MERCEDES, BUT...! P. 1.

Big Congratulation to Lewis Hamilton,Valtteri Bottas and Team Mercedes, for having endured a gruelling, torturous and very frustrating - atleast for Hamilton - Monaco Grand Prix, to make it their Sixth Podium appearance in as many races.

 A Big Congratulation also, to Sebastian Vettel and Team Ferrari, for, again making it to P.3.  

 Albeit, by the grace of Max Verstappen's unfortunate fate, in having incurred a 5 second penalty, as a result of a Pit stop incident involving Valtteri Bottas.

 And now, moving on, what can I say about the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix? Well, I imagine that I and others could say alot about it, although it might be difficult to much that would be new and original. 


Things which would thrill and inspire the reader. Indeed, truth to tell, the Monaco Grand Prix, at least for me, is in a category of its own, when compared with the other Grand Prix races. 

 It is more of an 'endurance challenge' than a genuine Grand Prix race. 

 The extreme limitations of the Circuit have dictated that it should be so, as its short length and sharp corners foretelling of the destruction of the race of any racers who misjudge and mistime his reactions. 

 One of the challenges for the racers is that of, how do you make a 78 lap treadmill race.  Which offers little opportunity to overtake, less boring and fatiguing than it might appears to be to the watching audience?
