For those ardent advocates of 'western democracy', equating the opportunistic elites who have been attempting to use 'the people.' 

 To force out the current elite military rulers of Sudan, with a gang holding innocent people as hostages in their demands for whatever they desire, might sound a bit harsh.

 And yet, I think that there is more validity in drawing such a comparison, than many of the supporters of this 'people's revolution', would want to admit to. 

 I means, in the proverbial 'nutshell', that is what the elitists 'wannabee leaders' of 'Sudan's people's Revolution' - which is a very questionable description, even though it is one which the Western media and 'western democracy advocates' love to make - are attempting to achieve. 


The ad hoc reluctant and not so reluctant leadership of the ad hoc alliance of opposition forces.  

 Are using 'the people', as represented by those who have been demonstrating and having sit-ins outside the Sudan military headquarters.  

 As a powerful 'gun with which they have been threatening the military and government, to force it to capitulate and hand over the power of the state to them. It is a form of extortion; attempted theft of the state of Sudan.

 They have been demanding that the military hand over power to 'them, as the people's representatives.'
