It is for reasons or scenarios like these, that, when I am more empathetic towards my dear mother, and more carefully contextualise the subject of our conversation or our apparently opposing perception.
I am able to grasp that the things she sometimes recount, are not as 'far fetched' or 'illogical' as they might appear to be.
Ah, but it is so so very difficult to adopt the empathetic modus operandi when I am interacting with my dear mother.
