BRITISH GRAND PRIX QUALIFYING - TEAM MERCEDES AND BOTTAS TAKE POLE!!

A Big Congratulation to Valtteri Bottas and Team Mercedes, for making it to Pole in the Qualifying Session of the British Grand Prix, and to Lewis Hamilton, for making it to P.2.  Following his uncharacteristic but recently seemingly too frequent errors during Practice and Qualifying sessions.

A Big Congratulation to Team Ferrari and Charles Leclerc for making it to P.3

In the end, as it were, Hamilton appeared to have lost out on securing his 5th British Grand Prix Qualifying Pole, by 0.0006 second.

However, this was not entirely the whole picture, as he really lost out in the penultimate lap of Q3.  When, due to an error he made, having temporarily lost sight of the 'IGT', the Invisible Golden Threat.

Which lights his way around the Silverstone Circuit, and which resulted in him lagging behind his team mate, Bottas, by 2 tenths of  a second.

There are times, and this was one of them, when Formula 1 drivers, racers are offered only one chance to do something astounding.  Like making it to Pole or winning the Grand Prix, and, in the case of the former, Pole, Hamilton has messed up.

Just as how it might be argued that Serena Williams had messed up in failing to marshall, coordinate, synchronise and take control of all the relevant energies.

Which would have allowed her to have a fighting chance against Halep, in Wimbledon's Women's Final

Like Halep, Valtteri Bottas had dominated much, if not most of the Practice and Qualifying sessions, and deserved to be on Pole.

And now, for Hamilton, the challenge of the British Grand Prix race is that of whether he can successfully and safely werest the Golden Thread from Bottas, and hold onto it like crocodile or rottweiler.

And relentlessly follow it to being the first to greet the Checkered Flag at the end of the race.

That requires Hamilton, with Team Mercedes' support, to have a greater start of the Grid than his team mate and the other racers.

It also requires him having an syncing with the support of the 'right race strategy', and benefiting or not being hindered from any untoward event which fate might bring to the Grand Prix.

Will all of that happen? Well, that we do not know; we shall have to await the race to see what prevails.

What we should suffice with, however, is this: That, like Halep fighting for and winning the 2019 Wimbledon Women's Championship.

So should the winner of the 2019 British Grand Prix event, be the racer fights hardest for it and wins it through asserting his dominance.

Let us look forward to the teams and their drivers giving us a safe and thrilling Grand Prix.
