JUST PHILOSOPHISING ON - WHERE HAVE ALL THE 'GOOD' POLITICAL LEADERS GONE? PART 1.

'Politics have become much consumerisitic, and like any other commodity being marketed, is open to being misrepresented and to the electorate, by their purveyors, so as to more effectively manipulate the electorate.'

Politics and the political affairs of nations today, have degenerated to what seems to be an unprecedented low. 

They, our politics, and our national leaders are mostly without any substance or sustainable appeal. 

No sooner do they, our politics and our national leaders, make their mark, with the aid of social and traditional media.  

By gaining the inflated and seemingly manipulated appeal of what the media often presents as the majority of the masses. 

And having their 'anointed' leaders ascend the throne of nation or country X.

So, why is this happening? This phenomena of populist politics and political leaders with no credible 'roots' of sustainable policies and leadership? 

What has become of the M5S of Italy, that new political movement that not so long ago, seemed to have heralded the rise of a more progressive and less economically and political corrupt political system for Italy and the Italians?
