BREXIT - A VERY BRITISH VERSION OF THE CALIPHATE?

From being the, (let us make use of some dramatic language) bastard son or offspring of the then Great Britain, the United States has become the somewhat uneasy, powerful but somewhat disdained 'champion' of the British psche. 

It is envied for its dominance in matters of trade, industry, its almighty Dollar and military might. 

But it is also despised for its perceived social and intellectual 'inferiority.' 

For what might be considered as its 'barbarities', considering that it has only been 160 years ago since the USA was still a slaveocratic nation.  

And that is still in the throws of freeing or not freeing its African-American from the pernicious slaveocratic institutions, mentally and physically, which still shackles both the oppressed and the oppressor together.

Until now, that is. Because the court jesters are no longer willing to suffice with just entertaining the elites and the courtiers. 

Instead they want and have taken over the court, the palace and presumed to have become its rulers. 

It does not matter if their rule will only last for 4 or 5 or 8 or 10 short but seemingly too long years. 

They know only too well that that could be enough time to destroy 'the old system' and begin to build what they hope will be their version of what the world should be like.

And just like the 'Islamic Caliphate' which ISIL wants to inflict on the world would be a terribly backward, regressive step for humankind. 

So, also, it what Brexit is about. Taking the British people and the world, not to some new and exciting frontier to a better future. 

But to a past which would not serve either the British people or the world, any better than it had when it was being lived by past generations.

Indeed, it is certain to fail and prove an unnecessary burden to inflict upon the nation, and the world.
