Things change; nothing is permanent. The old must give way to the new, at least where us humans are concerned, if the natural order of is to be maintained. If the process of birth, dying and rebirth is to occur. 

 Yes, if nothing changes, then that would not be good, as it could lead to boredom, constant misery for those who are being adversely impacted by the absence of change. 

 And, probably most importantly, it would preclude or prevent the alternative birth and existence of who or what would have taken its place.

 So, yes, for those of us who were getting fed-up, disinterested by Team Mercedes continuing dominance of Formula 1.  

 Those of us who were or are not ardent Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas' fans.  

 The ascendancy of Team Ferrari and their racers, Vettel and Leclerc, The Intense, would have been a breath of fresh air, as it were. 

 And yes, for the more objective lovers of Formula 1, a category to which many of us might not belong to.

 And so it was, that, when we might have been least expecting it, fate, luck and consummate driving by Hamilton and Bottas, and the right race strategy and tactics by Team Mercedes.  

 Coalesced to provide the ultimate compound to fire Team Mercedes into a P.1 and P.2 finish in the 2019 Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Circuit.
