JUST A THOUGHT, ON WHAT WE CAN LEARN FROM HISTORY.

History, it is said, is a 'great teacher'. The fact is, however, that 'history' is neither a good nor a poor teacher; it is not a teacher at all. But us humans do learn from it.

One of the most salient thing that us humans can learn from history, is this:

That the now historical event and its actors, though at the time of its occurrence, seemed or was of  monumental importance.

Will, in the course of time, the passing of time and space, become of less importance, less significance, and less relevance in the context of our human history.

Even though it might have influenced the course or path and mode and pace of  our subsequent travel.
