JUST A THOUGHT - ON IRAN'S ACCIDENTAL DESTRUCTION OF UKRAINE'S AIRLINE PASSENGERS.

So, Iranians and other are correct in asking for a full investigation of the circumstances leading up to the launching of the missiles which destroyed the plane and all the people on in it. 

As for Iran's government, it needs to review how it handles its 'war preparedness', including taking appropriate action to avoid repeating this kind of seemingly avoidable tragedy. 

The truth, as Nasio Fointaine, in his song, 'The Truth will Reveal' noted, was always fated to come out. 

So the government of Iran had nothing to gain from its delay in putting its hands up. 

It should not have taken things to the extent where it had to be forced into doing so, or where it admission almost became a matter of irrelevance. 

This was the courageous and strategically best thing for it to have done. Not having done so in a timely fashion is a sign of political and leadership weakness.

None of this lessens my support for Iran's government and its people, in their just struggle against the United States' economic and political war against them.

As for those Iranians who are demonstrating against their government.  

They are at serious risk of compromising whatever merits their opposition against the government has, by placing themselves at the service and mercy of the American government.  

Which wants to make Iran and its people into an emasculated eunuchised vassal state. 

With the American enemy at the gate of their nation, anything that deliberately gives it encouragement could rightly be seen as treasonous.
