'It is one of the paradox of theism, that, in order to be able to believe in the existence of a sentient 'God', the believer must, of necessity, be ignorant or be willing to feign such ignorance. 

 And also willingly or forcefully subscribes to a relevant religious doctrine and ritual'


It is this 'God' and the presumed relationship, predicated on religious beliefs, between him and the believers, that needs to be subjected to through scientific enquiry. 

And yet, it would seem that this openness, this transparent and accountability.  


Is not something which any of the major religions, whether they are of the Abrahamic or the more colourful and demi-god-like Oriental and Asiatic varieties, are willing to countenance. 

Mainstream religions are it seems, really too big to fail. They fear the 'truth' which would testify that they are based upon deceptions, frauds, fabrications and lies. 

 For these religions, their survival really is based on 'the truth about them not being told'. At least, not to the masses.
