IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE STARS - AN ACCOUNT OF LIVES IMPACTED BY 'EVERYDAY ADVERSITIES.' PART 43.

'What we recall of our experiences of the past, tends to be a factor of how they impacted on our senses at the time, the strength of our continuing attachment to those experiences.

And the extent to which we have succeeded in assimilating them into our subsequent experiences and move on with our lives.'

Kazaliwa's parents, having been endowed with both the aspiration and provided with the opportunity to progress into higher education and pursue professional.

Have had professional experience of how primary societal organs, including criminal justice and the prison system, impact adversely on the particular sections of the nation's population.

But they did not want to have to experience the prision system from this close, this personal a level.

Never mind, fate is a no respecter of persons, and it was now, though not to the heightened level of their son,

Kazaliwa, their fate to become a part of the concentric rings which surround the citizens of a nation who have been incarcerated.

This is the new world they were about to be initiated into, as they pondered their son's many years of incarceration.

And their role in helping to support him along this new stage of his life's journey, which also happened to be their journey as well.

To be continued!
