Well, yes, they are. After all, it is quite clear that Donald Trump and his supporters did not carry out an illegal coup against the American governmental system.  In order for Trump to become President of the United States of America. 

 That, however, does not mean that he and his supporters did everything by the book, as it were.  As can be inferred from the allegation of Russian involvement in the Presidential campaign.

 Him becoming a candidate and campaigning for the Presidency, was, of course, the latest part of what was a long running process. 


Even though the announcement of his candidacy was met with shock and even derision. 

 It might have come as a shock to even the other inhabitants of the 'House of the Republicons', including incumbent Senators and Members of the House of Representatives. 

 But then, most, if not all of these Republicons, like their Democrat colleagues, own the tenure of their office, not so much to the people who elected them. 

 But rather to various powerful lobbies who fund them and pull the necessary strings to make their path to Congress and the HoR as free of obstacles as possible.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.
