'Having 'faith' and/or 'belief' in 'God',  has no discernible impact on whether a hoped for or desired event will or will not occur.  As 'God' has to rely on the power of humans.

However, having a very strong belief and using it as motivator to muster ones and others energies, could influence realisable outcomes.'


Wherever we look around the world and, in history, we are likely to find instances, in some cases, numerable examples of various religions.  

Doing or having done things which, directly or indirectly, intentionally or unintentionally, have benefited or is benefiting humans and our advancement. 


The proselytisation of people, as well as capturing them for ones religious faith, has also been known to offer them the way toward empowerment or more empowerment. 

By teaching them to read and write, providing them with some kind of education which have and can become the foundation for them to improve their and their people's social, economic and political prospects. 

Religions have been known to create and facilitate economics for people, as well as indoctrinating and oppressor or suppressing them.
