Have now driven them mad and cruelly demand thats they make even more self-sacrifice and appeasement to its insatiable appetite, by destroying their own belongings. 

Yes, we will have seen or heard of the likes actions of Langston Hughes, of Frederick Douglas, of Sojourner Truth, of Paul Robeson, of Rosa Park and of The Freedom Marchers.  

Of Angela Davis, of Bobby Seale, of Jonathan Jackson, of the Symbionese Liberation Army, of Muhammad Ali, of Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam, of Martin Luther King, of the Black Panthers, and others.  

Who have had a go, as it were, of forcing, encouraging, pleading with the American government and people to take note and begin the work of 'civilizing America.'

However, although some good have come of it, such as 'desegregation', such as 'affirmative action', such as more political enfranchisement of Americans of colour. 

It would appear that there has been no escaping the miasma of the antebellumal, the antedeluvian cloud which has engulfed the United States from and since its very inception or formation. 

America, evidently, still lacks positive or health organic cohesion as one country of many states, languages, ethnicities and cultures.
