JUST A THOUGHT - ON GEORGE FLOYD' MURDER AND AMERICA'S OBSESSION WITH KILLING BLACK AND POOR PEOPLE. PART 3.

Consider, for example, 'little Rome' and 'little Britain' branching outward from their shores and conquering massive territories and making them and their peoples subjected to the rule of Rome and Britain. 

Yes, America has branched out from its borders during the 19th and 20th Centuries to steal and occupy large areas of its neighbours' territories, such Mexico and probably Canada. 

As well as further afield in Hawaii. However, that the United States should have been able to conquer other peoples' lands and subject them to its rule, is not a great feat in the sense of 'Little Rome' and 'Little Britain' had done. 



America's land mass and its inherent richness in resources and enterprising people from all over the world.  

Coupled with the technological and scientific advances of the 19th and 20th Centuries, gave it the edge that Rome and Britain did not have.

Arguably, America has been the most powerful, but not 'greatest' country in recent times. 

Undoubtedly, it is a very big country, and with its immense size and wealth comes it 'great power', but not greatness.  

As power is not necessarily the same thing as 'greatness.' After all, we have seen how 'little Vietnam' had, during the Vietnam War, twisted America's tail and gave it a trashing.
