JUST A THOUGHT - ON GEORGE FLOYD' MURDER AND AMERICA'S OBSESSION WITH KILLING BLACK AND POOR PEOPLE. PART 5.

Are the demographics of the the protesters and demonstrators and their supporters more reflective, more representative of all sectors of American society? 

Of the different ethnicities, nationalities, genders, social classes, political and religious classes making up the American Family?

Yes, what it is that we might detect that does or could be indicative that, 'it will be different this time; that real and fundamental changes are coming to America?'

That the American people and government, the political and economic classes  are committed, this time; that they are all in it for the long haul, this time; 

That they, the American people and government, are going to do the necessary work to advance the Project of the American Dream.  Which the Founding Fathers began, and make it into a reality for Americans of colour, for All Americans?

We do not see President ~Trump and his Republicon administration making the necessary commitment. Indeed, they are not even 'saying the right thing.' 

We are hearing positive and encouraging things being said by many state governors and city mayors. We are hearing and seeing American politicians, business owners, community and religious leaders, celebrities and media workers saying positive and encouraging things. 

However, we have to be pragmatic and say, we have seen and heard it before. 

It is or has become somewhat of a stock or standard response for Americans to wring their hands and wail to 'God' and the high heavens.
