AN ENIGMATIC AND POIGNANT JOURNEY AROUND MY AGEING AND EVOLVING MOTHER! PART 90.

My dear mother's behaviour makes little sense to me, irrespective of how much I endeavour to become the psychologist, the gerontologist, the sympathetic listener.

And now, it has actually gotten to point where my dear mother is at risk of losing her most reliable and long-standing carer. 

Why, because of her relentless pursuit of per perception of how things should be done. 

Because of her fear of contracting the dreaded covid-19 infection. 




You see, my dear mother is not given to letting things go; at least, not for long, and has a tendency to persist and pursue, by other means, if necessary. 

It is my belief that my dear mother's life could be less stressful.  If only she had the inclination to do some of the small things which she is quite capable of doing herself.  

Instead of being of the view that, not only should others be aware that she wants these things to be done, without her having to say so, but also that it is their duty to do them.
