SPANISH GRAND PRIX ONE - HAMILTON AND TEAM MERCEDEDCES MADE IT POLE!

Big Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton and Team Mercedes and Valtteri Bottas for making it to P.1 and P.2. In the first of the two Spanish Grand Prix scheduled for this Coronaviral 2020 Formula 1 Season.

In making it to Pole by virtue of having laid down what was to proved an unbeatable penultimate lap during Q3, Hamilton has followed his team mate's precedent in the qualifying session of an earlier Grand Prix he Poled this year.

The lesson to be learnt from this event, in the Qualifying session of a Grand Prix, is that a driver, during any of the Q3 laps.

Should never become complacent and place all or even most of his - come the pleasing day when I will be able to have to add her, in as sentence like this - his reserve and hope for the last lap.

The standard for Q3 laps should, ought to be, to race all laps as if it was the last one.

Conversely, during the Grand Prix race, the guiding principle should be that you never race as if you are fated to lose.

At least until after the winner has greeted the Checkered Flag, and all the point scoring positions have been spoken for,

In Saturday' Q3 session, Bottas was beaten by only the narrowest of margins by Hamilton, no more than just 0.069 of a second.

An advantage which could prove decisive to Hamilton, Bottas, Verstappen and the intrepid racers behind them, all shot off the Grid at the start of Sunday's race, to see who can make it to and around the first corner of the circuit.

A Big Congratulation to the unyielding  Max Verstappen for making it P.3, and thereby maintaining his record as a persistent Podiumite.

As qualifying goes, today's was not the spectacular event that we can  expect reasonably expect hat Sunday's Grand Prix will be.

Considering that today's even is really about which car can drive the fastest lap.  Whereas Sunday's is about which car can have the quickest and safe start off the grid, and remain ahead of the rest for the duration of the race.

To see who that will be, we shall have to wait for the race tomorrow. Let us remain patient, though in much anticipation.

As we bid tomorrow to come, that we might see which teams and drivers, fate and/or the gods will assist to become the Podiumites of the First Spanish Grand Prix of the 2020 Formula 1 Grand Prix Season.
