IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE STARS - AN ACCOUNT OF LIVES IMPACTED BY 'EVERYDAY ADVERSITIES.' PART 65.

'What we recall of our experiences of the past, tends to be a factor of how they impacted on our senses at the time, the strength of our continuing attachment to those experiences.

And the extent to which we have succeeded in assimilating them into our subsequent experiences and move on with our lives.'

Rapping requires the kind of life which was consistent with it, and that was no longer the life style he, Kazaliwa, wanted for himself.

To be a good rapper, he seemed to be saying, you have to feel it, and to feel it, you have to live in and with it.

That is the only way he felt he could be an authentic rapper.

Yes, his parents and brother, Nzuli, Mfanyazaki and Mzaliwa.

Would have to share or privately cogitate on and be tortured by their fears about how he would continue to fare with life on the inside.

Probably falling out of love with rap was a sign of his transformation, of him being rehabilitated. By his own actions and that of others.

He had taken to writing poetry, which he was also good at doing.

And he had also taken to reading books, some of which might be considered as self-improvement books.

But those fears and the pain would largely only endure until that fateful morning.

Which would see Mfanyazaki. Look through the large bay windows of family's living room.

Only to noticed the familiar figure of young man, as he made a sharp left turn towards their front door.

To be continued!
