And that, while Islam remains in its original form, it will continue to pose that threat of forceful adherence and conversion. 

It will pose the risk of threatening and denying the exercise of basic human rights. To those who fall under its remit.

In this context, allowing Islam to be practised in western societies, in a way which is inconsistent with secularism and the freedom of speech.  

Could, if not would present a serious and increasing thereat to human rights. 


Just as how the practice of Islam in many predominantly Muslim countries, will have negatively impacted the lives of the people and their human rights.

Calling this 'Islamophobia' might not be entirely inaccurate.  But neither would it be unwarranted or unjustified.

Like its brother religion, Judaism, with both having emanated from the 'House of Abraham', if you will.

Diplomacy ought to be the process by which nations, through their governments, establish and maintain mutually beneficial and peaceful relationships between them; Diplomacy is not, like the Gulf Cooperation Council members and their allies, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE states, trying to bully and intimidate Qatar into doing their bidding, by surrendering its sovereignty.  Neither is diplomacy what the American government is doing, in using sanctions to force the governments of states of Iran, Russia and North Korea, into complying with its demands.  About what action they should or should not take in pursuing what they consider to be in the interest of their countries and people.  No, none of this is diplomacy. Rather it is method of force and compulsion, which is not synonymous with principle or practice of diplomacy.  Which is about the art of establishing and maintaining peaceful and mutually beneficial relationships between different countries.
