JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON WHICH 'FREEDOMS' ARE OF GREATER IMPORTANCE. PART 9.

 

Islam probably suffers from the same kind of 'exceptionalism' complex that I see Judaism as having evolved for itself. 

Like Judaism, Islam has laid claim or wants to lay claim to  being God's favourite religion, and to be being his chosen people. 

The orthodox Jews nob their heads towards their holy wall, and Muslims walk around the Kaaba and prostrate themselves in submission to Allah. 

And, just as how the stereotypical Jewish people do or might see themselves as a race apart, a distinct ethnic group.  

So has Islam evolved and develop in a way which seeks to set it apart from all other religions. 

It is not only a way of life or living, but it sees itself as a distinct people. 

Except that, here again, it cannot really compare with Jewish people, who are largely, mostly have a common ancestry. 

Whereas Islam has only been able to boost its numbers by conquering and converting other nations and peoples into becoming Muslims.
