Probably taking itself too seriously, Islam does not want to be criticised, or be made fun of. 

It does not want to be held up in front of the mirror of objective analysis, and is reluctant to submit to either self-analysis or by analysis by others. 

Especially those whom it considers to be 'unbelievers.'

Which is why it finds itself having to contend with the challenges it finds in the western world. 




Challenges which are not unique to Islam, as Christianity also had to be confronted with similar challenges. 

In order to stop it continuing to suffocate and destroy the human rights of Europeans and others whose lives it was blighting. 

Islam, like other prosetlysing religions, will have destroyed the non-Islamic beliefs and customs of the ancestors of most of today's Muslims. 

In order to convert them into becoming Muslims.
