POLITICIANS ARE NOT GODS, SO DO WE NOT EXPECT TOO MUCH OF THEM? PART 3.

 

But do not be despaired, the believers and the faithful tell us. 

There is a better world to come; a paradisical world, buy not until we have all died. 

A bit like a dream, you might say. Which could suggest that, just as how God has apparently abandoned humans. 

When faced with the demand to allow us freedom of speech and expression. 

So has he abandoned the world of humans, when faced with the challenges brought about by our greed and addiction to conflict.

And, with God having found the challenge of ruling the world so disheartening that he has abandoned it. 

How can we expect that our human politicians are going to be able to form competent governments to rule over us?

Are we not asking too much, the improbable even. 

That we should expect that our politicians, our governments, are ever going to be able to satisfy the conflicting interests and goals of the people?
