It was Hamilton, after having survived a difficult and challenging bit during the first lap. 

Who, with the right combination of skilful driving performance and team strategies, was the first racer to greet the Checkered Flag at end of the race.


It was very fitting that it was none other than Sebastian Vettel, who, along with the now seasoned and greatly experienced Sergio Perez, were to join Hamilton on the Podum, for his record breaking win.

In his struggle, his rise to the top, Lewis Hamilton has displayed all or most of the qualities of drivers like Perez and Vettel, and more. 



Hamilton is a unique driver, but, on analysing him, you will find that he has deployed the attributes of drivers such as Verstappen, Ricciardo, Kimi, Vettel, Grosjean and many others. 

Hamilton has driven fearlessly, some would say it times, even rather recklessly. 

But over time, he has now matured into becoming, evolving into the consummate professional racing driver he now is. 

I do not know if Hamilton is of the view that he has as yet surpassed his highest expectations of what he expected to achieve as a world class Formula 1 driver.
