Such as his patently anti-Muslim policies. Such as his apparent desire to loosen the bonds which tether the United States with its Nato partners in Europe. 

Such as his reluctance, if not refusal to denounce the resurgence of white supremacism in the United States. 

Such as his intentional or unintentional role in the 'storming of the American pillar of government.' 

Such as his failure to assert himself as the President of all Americans.  

And take effective measures to begin to acknowledge, address and heal the fissures in American society.




For sure, as the cliche goes, Former President Trump has, arguably, been found wanting in how he handled these things. 

But there are also things which he had done, which, at least according to my worldview, merit approval and support.

These are things such as him not increasing American involvement in the invasion of Syria. 

Such as him drawing down American involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

Such as him seemingly having reduced the intensity of drone attacks on individuals, groups and nations that America has designated as 'enemies.'
