All of which raises the question of, 'what is to be the U.S' role in international affairs, on its return to the playing field?

Countries like the state of Israel, which, under the Donship of Benjamin Netanyahu.

Has inveigled the Trumpists to allow Israel carte blanche authority to do whatever it wants to do in its oppression of the Palestinians and incursions into Syria and Iran. 

And which now presents the Bidenites with the challenge of reigning it, Israel in, or giving the pretence of having done so.



As well as cajoling the Saudis back into accepting that their role is that of should be the tail, and not the head of the Americana Bison.

So, as I said, President Biden has not made as good a start as I and others who still 'dare to aspire' for a better future would have hoped. 

Indeed, some would say he has made a terrible start, considering him having chosen to start or resume a fight with both China and Russia. 

The idea of going "back to building better" probably eloquently says it all. What is needed is a forward looking President.
