MEGHAN AND HARRY : TRUE HEROES TELLING A STORY WHICH NEEDED TO BE TOLD?! THE END...

Harry and Meghan, for all the initial misgivings I and others have had, are, indeed, true Heroes, even though they might not have intended it to be so. 

This could prove to have been the only and most effective way of the British Royal Family and the Monarchy be reformed and made fit for 21st Century purpose. 

While it remains. Harry and Meghan have shown the rest of the Royal Family the way forward. They should take it and join the struggle to reform the British Monarchy, and make it into a more person-friendly and caring institution. 

One which is more in sync with the demographics, social, cultural and political state of the 21st Century. Especially as, by doing so, it could, if not would, prolong the life of the British Monarchy.




There is the world of difference between having a friendly Monarch, and a human-friendly Monarchy. 

HRH the Queen, in her public role, is undoubtedly a friendly and much loved Queen. 

However, we can imagine that, Her Majesty has not achieved the record of becoming the longest serving British Monarch.  

Without having a resolute conviction in her own 'god-like' fate to remain head of Royal Family, and having perfected the art of getting her own way. 

Accordingly, we should not be surprised if, upon comparing the people-friendly public face of HRH the Queen, with the out-of-sight functioning of the Monarchy. There were to be some incongruence.




Evolution teaches us that those species that survive, have to be responsive to the changing environments they find themselves. 

That they have to be able to adapt and change, or they become doomed. 

The Monarchy, if it is to continue to survive and service its purpose, must continue to make itself competitively indispensable and maximise its relevance to contemporary society.

This can, and millions of people would support the notion that it should be done.

Is it something HRH the Queen and the senior Royals and courtiers have the vision and willingness to do, and, if so, will they do it?
