FORMULA ONE2021 : BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX - HAMILTON AND VERSTAPPEN MIXING IT UP! PART 1.

Big Congratulations to Team Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, for making it P.1 and P.3, and to Team Red Bull and Max Verstappen, for making it a P.2 finish.

In the first Formula 1 car race of the 2021 world championship season. The Bahrain Grand Prix, on Sunday 28th March 2021.

How good and exciting it is to have the privilege of enjoying another year of Formula 1 racing.

Tempered with the knowledge that, it is but a matter of time before both the racing 'big named and big men and women of Formula 1,' along with the older generations of racing fans.

Will gradually or suddenly drop out and move onto to other things. Leaving void to be filled the younger generations of players who are fated to succeed them/us.

Which is why we need to enjoy it while we can, even under the unusual, but now accommodating restrictions of the, hopefully, receding Covid Pandemic.





The exciting finish which we experienced in the closing laps of the Bahrain Grand Prix, was not that apparent or likely, probably, during Q3 on Saturday.

Not with Hamilton and Bottas and Team Mercedes appearing to have the pace to challenge the power of Red Bull, as demonstrated by Max Verstappen's supreme finish to make it to Pole.

Indeed, although Hamilton was able to hold his own and either remained ahead of or close enough behind Max, as the two of them led the race for most, if not all of its duration.

It was Max's fortuitous mistake in placing all four of his tyres off the track as he overtook Hamilton, which might have given Hamilton that decisive lucky break to win the the race.

As he lost time to Hamilton, while allowing him to pass him, to remove the advantage which he, Max, was deemed to have gained. by breaking track limits as he overtook Hamilton.
