And so it seems to me, to be very ironic, problematic that 'people of faith', as it were, should be able to speak of 'their faiths' as if they were a given. 

As if they the are true accounts of things which did happen in human encounters with 'God' or 'the Gods and Goddesses' of this and that religious beliefs and rituals.

I mean, where else or in what fields other than that of religion.  Can anybody make the blatant claims which are made by Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, et al.  



Without a shred of credible evidence or proof of the veracity of what is written and/or is being repeated by the relevant believer?

Politicians would not be able to get away with not being transparent and accountable for what they are promising. 

Medical professionals would not be able to make incredible comments and assertions about the care and treatment they are providing.  

Without being made accountable for its impact or lack of impact.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.
