A Very Big Congratulations to Team Red Bull and Max Verstappen, and Team Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton, and McLaren Mercedes and Lando Norris, for finishing the second Formula 1 Grand Prix of the 2021 season in P.1, and P.2 and P.3 positions respectively. 

Congratulations to all the racers and teams for your participation in the race, and for making it as entertaining as it was!

At   the Imola Circuit in Italy.

Not many people would disagree that this, the second race of the 2021 Formula 1 season, was both a dramatic and spectacular event. 

This track is probably one of, if not the most 'extreme' of the Formula 1 circuits. It behaved, during the Practice, Qualifying and race sessions, like an 'unbroken' horse. 

Allowing only those racers who gave it the 110 percent vigilance, concentration and application it demanded of them, from start to finish, to remain on its back, as it were. 

The least lapse in concentration and mastery, could result in even the most accomplished of the racers being thrown from the Circuit and having their machines and race coming to grief on the unwelcoming walls of around the track.




The 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was undoubtedly a race which had the gods in control. 

It was a race which challenged all the racers to perform at the top of their driving competency, or risk inheriting the wind of misfortune. 

And there was a lot of misfortune in this race, with the difference being that the gods mixed it up with good fortune as well. 

So much so that one racer's misfortune were to become anothers good fortune. 

With the latter being  the case with Lewis Hamilton. There is the saying that bad luck, or misfortune, comes in three. We saw this in the first part of Hamilton's race. 

With him first loosing his P.1 position to the Intrepid Max Verstappen (Red Bull gives you wings), whose car appears to sprout wings or turbo at the start of the race, to overtake Hamilton before they got to the safety of the first bend.
