THE SPANISH GRAND PRIX - MASTER STRATEGY BY TEAM MERCEDES AND DRIVE BY LEWIS 'THE POLEIST' HAMILTON MADE IT TO P.1. PART 1.

 

A Very Big Congratulations to Lewis 'The Poleist' Hamilton and Team Mercedes and Valtteri Bottas, for making it a P.1 and P.3, and to the Intrepid Max Verstappen and Team Red Bull, for making it to P.2, during the Spanish Grand Prix, in Barcelona-Catalunya on 9th May 2021.

A Big Thank You, also, to all the other courageous racers and their respective teams, for their contribution toward making the race the enjoyable event it was.

If it was just down to the shaman shaking up the bones and casting them on the ground to predict who would have been the winner of the 2021 Spanish Grand Prix.  

Then, the chances are that all the initial indications would or might have pointed to it being the Intrepid Max Verstappen, under the logistical support of Red Bull.

Yes, it was the case that Lewis 'The Poleist' Hamilton was starting the race on Pole, with Max at P.2 and Valtteri at P.3 positions respectively.  

But there was the uncertainty about who would safely navigate the 600 yards of opportunity to the first corner of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, before disappear beyond it.

As it transpired, it was an unknown that would quickly become know within the first several of seconds of the start of the race. 

As Verstapppen did another of his 'exocet starts' and rocketed off the starting grid. 

Then pointed his car directly at Hamilton's Car 44's rear, before moving it to the right of the car and turboising his car to get it slightly ahead of Hamilton's by the time they hit the apex. 

At which point Verstappen aggressively but skilfully - if he and Hamilton had had a heavy embrace, his action would have probably been described as 'recklessly.' 

But, thanks to Hamilton's calm and prudent action in holding back and going wide to allow the rather brash Verstappen more room for his manoeuvre, the kiss of doom was avoided) forced Hamilton to allow him to pass.
