The Practicing sessions of the Grand Prix has been mostly excruciating for Team Mercedes and their racers; Hamilton and Bottas. 

Yes, it has been painful for them and fans. But just as how this grand prix has been challenging for most, if not all of the racers preparing for it. 

So has it also seen an initial and what could yet transpire to be a significant recovery of fortune for Hamilton and Team Mercedes. 

With the Great Racer making it to P.2 during Q.3, and he might even have taken Pole, had he and the others behind Tsunoda and Sainz, been able to put in their final lap.

And now for the race; what is to be the outcome? Things are probably finely set, with Leclerc wanting to have a good race by converting his good fortune Pole into a win. 




With Lewis wanting to pull back the Drivers' Championshionship lead under his control, and with Verstappen wanting to increase his lead over Hamilton.

The chances are that, considering the angry manner in which this 'wild bronco' of a circuit has been behaving during both the Practice and the Qualifying sessions, this race is likely to be a spectacular and exciting one. 

The risk is that none of the drivers should become complacent or overly aggressive, reckless, even, and increase the tensions and hazardous nature of the race.

It is to be hoped that Max's anger about the uncontrollable chaotic nature of Qualifying, will have been abated, and that he will allow prudence to prevail.

Let us hope that the gods will intervene somewhat less malevolently than they have already done.
